Shop with me for Early Spring

Hi Friends! I have been doing a wee bit of shopping what is new haha and thought I would share a few items I have purchased for early spring. As you can see there is a wide range of items here from activewear to jewelry to plants and more and we’ll talk about them all! Spring always brings out the pastel lover in me and it also makes me want to showcase my love for the growth and renewal aspect of the season meaning wearing florals, showing some skin again, getting outside to be more active, etc.

Let’s group items into categories so it’s a bit easier to follow! So let’s start with Activewear (#5, #7, and # 12). I don’t think I have talked about this much on my blog or on my socials but I love to work out and do every day! It’s a huge part of my self-care/wellness routine and also part of how I take care of myself while living with 2 chronic illnesses. I also will admit it helps to want to work out when I feel like I look cute doing it haha. So I have bought a few pieces to do just that. I have been living for the off-the-shoulder or one-shoulder workout top moment that we are having right now. I think it’s so flattering and a bit different/sexy and I love that! I am also feeling a little more confident these days and don’t mind showing more skin so I am loving the cropped workout bras/ tops. The from Set Active & the Black Top is from Free People. #12 the biker shorts are also from Free People and I think they are SO cute. I don’t personally love the longer biker shorts because as someone only 5’2 I don’t find them flattering but this shorter length I think is perfect. I can’t wait to wear these pieces to pilates.

Next let’s talk about the Everyday Fashion items (#1, #6, #8, and #9). #1 are the Balloon jeans ( on sale) from Madewell and even though I am a stylist there, I still would buy them without the affiliation. I think they are so flattering and so many women that I help adore them too. They are super high-waisted and tight in the hip/booty and then start to loosen as you move down the leg. They are definitely different from boyfriend or girlfriend jean. I love the look + the distressed black wash. The top #6 is also from Madewell and I couldn’t resist this top. I am a sucker for a puff sleeve and you can’t tell from the photo but the back of this top is what sold me. It’s an open back, that ties together at the top/shoulder area creating such a gorgeous look. #8 is from Lulu’s and as you can see I am very much into an open back, exaggerated sleeve, and a cropped length vibe right now. I can’t wait to pair this with high-waisted denim and skirts when it starts to get warmer out. I am just going to have to figure out the bra situation haha. Last but certainly not least #9 is this gorgeous lilac flower sweater from The Common Room Shop and it is so sweet. Lilac is one of my favorite spring colors ever and I can’t wait to cozy up in this all spring long!

Enter Shoe Favorites (#2 & #10) These shoes are quite opposite of each other haha but that’s me sometimes in a nutshell. I love switching up my looks/style. Clogs are exploding right now for spring 22′ and I personally love them. They are definitely an acquired taste like you either love them or hate them lol but I personally love them. I also think they are really comfortable! I mentioned in my podcast episode all about finding your style that when experimenting with trends I like to do so in an inexpensive manner so these clogs are from Target! I originally wanted a pair I saw on Free People but wasn’t sure I would like how they looked and didn’t want to spend Free People cash just yet. Now that I know I love them, I might splurge in the future but for now, I love my Target ones! #10 are the cutest new balances ah! The color of them makes my heart explode. I am not typically a sneaker kind of gal but these captured my heart as soon as I saw them. They are so fun to wear with jeans, leggings, and even dresses!

For my last category let’s call this one of my miscellaneous items (#3, #4, #11, #13). #3 is the lined drawing art print. It’s called the lover’s art print and I saw it on Pinterest actually and thought it was so beautiful. I then went looking for it and found it on Etsy and ordered it. Even though I am single this print really beautiful to me and something that I can look at and hopefully find again one day. It really instilled feelings of deep love within me. I guess that’s art for you huh? haha. I am thinking of doing a gallery wall in my bedroom or living room. #4 is my new plant, Severus. I bought him at the farmers market this past Sunday and it is such a happy addition to my plant family. He is a real cutie and I love him already. Also if you don’t name your plants you should 🙂 #11) are the sweetest little butterfly earrings from Madewell. If you haven’t seen I also recently got 2 butterflies tattooed on me so there might be a theme in there somewhere. More on that later but these earrings are from Madewell’s Demi-Fine collection and are wonderfully made. My ears are sensitive to not good materials but these don’t bother them. Lastly, #13 is my new favorite nail polish. It’s by a company called Manucurist, they are a nontoxic Parisian brand and these specifically are their nontoxic gel polishes. Finding clean gel nail polish is RARE. Gel unfortunately is filled with gross chemicals and I am so happy to be converting to this for the time being.

I do make a small commission from the linked items* Thank you for supporting my blog!

These are a few items I have purchased for early spring and I am so excited to style them and show you guys!
