Leaf and Lore Candle ( from their autumn/ bookish line I adore!)
Happy Tuesday sweet friends! Today I wanted to share a post very near and dear to my heart and that’s all about candles! Candles make me so so happy and as silly as this might sound they’re important to my everyday life. This will also be no surprise to you if you follow me over on IG. Every flat lay of mine is has to have a warm candle lit. Candles are important to my life because they instantly create a calm coziness that I need. They really provide me peace of mind and make my spaces feel extra comforting. They also give off the kind of glow/ warmth suited for my chronic migraine-y brain. I am unbelievably sensitive to light as it comes with the territory of having migraines so candles are a way for me to live not entirely in the dark like a vampire lol. I will say you’ll find a running theme with my candles as I am very specific when it comes to scents. I have always been picky but being sensitive to scents also comes with having chronic migraine so I am very mindful of that. But enough about my health and onto these gorgeous I want to discuss wit you!
Birthdate Candle
This Birthdate Candle is one of my absolute favorites! I burn it every day. My sweet boyfriend got it for me as an anniversary gift (that date is our anniversary not my birthday) and it is truly gorgeous smelling. They have a few different scents to choose from but this one is bergamot, cinnamon, and mahogany. Its not overly spicy or cinnamon-y smelling, to me it is just warm and cozy. It isn’t over powering either and doesn’t trigger my head to hurt.
PNW Poured
PNW Poured is a sweet business run out of Washington and their candles are completely clean and nontoxic! But the best part is they smell heavenly. I am especially obsessed with their fall candles. I have two from their fall candle collection both equally amazing and I kind of never want to be without them. They are spicy and warm and I would describe their scents as nostalgic. Not only do the names like this one Grandma’s Applesauce make you reminisce but they really take you to a place of comfort. Like back to a time where you were standing in your Grandma’s house in the fall smelling her cook. Truly love these candles. They are more strong than the Birthdate Candle but not overpowering by any means.
Waxing Moon Candle Company
Oh don’t even get me started on this candle! Anything harry potter related has me written all over it and then you make the scent warm and cozy like ooooookay. Yes, I am being dramatic I know. But this candle will make you feel like you are sitting in the common room at Hogwarts in front of a roaring fire during the fall. It’s sweet, a hint smokey, and gives a touch of all the fall spices. Buy it now and it’ll fill your life with a little more magic.

This company also specializes in clean and not toxic candles( this is also a big deal for me because I don’t buy any that aren’t) and are locally made in LA. These candles not only look gorgeous with their aesthetics but also burn so perfectly. They don’t smoke, the burn evenly every time, and give off just the right amount of scent. They have such a wonderful wide range of scents that you will be able to find one that perfectly fits your personality!
There you have it sweet friends my 5 top cozy candles! I have so many other brands/ candles I adore but then you’d be reading a book instead of post so I kept it to some of my favorites 😉.
