… Soft & Feminine cowgirl summer

Hi sweet friends, or should I say y’all? Too much, haha? 😂 I last spoke to you all at the tail end of autumn, and now we are at the tail end of Spring. I guess I like talking to you guys on the cusp of the season’s change. If you have been around for a while, you know I do love my seasons and living intentionally through each. We can talk more about the seasons soon, but today I thought I’d share a new little series idea with you, and that’s a Get the Look, Pinterest-inspired.
Pinterest is truly my favorite social media platform. I feel so encouraged and inspired after spending time on there versus other apps that leave me overstimulated and discouraged. I love pinning images that reflect how I want to look, things I want to make, how I want my house to feel, and more. But know sometimes it feels like that is all Pinterest is, is inspiration, and not easily attainable for regular everyday people like you and me. So with that in mind, I wanted to create a series that makes those beautiful inspo pictures attainable in your own life.
So today we are starting with a look I’ve seen a lot recently in different versions, but the base is a white dress or two-piece set, with either rain boots or cowboy boots. I love that it feels so soft and feminine, with a slight twist with the boots. It is also simple to put together and doesn’t have to be expensive like the brand Doen, which often showcases this type of look with their pieces. You can thrift these items on Depop or Poshmark & I will link a few options for you. Here are some items for purchase that will give you a similar vibe to the images above that I pulled from my Pinterest.

All of these are under $100, and most are under $50! Romper, Dress 1, Dress 2, Dress 3, Dress 4, Midi Dress
Next up are some cowgirl boot options. I personally thrifted mine on Depop because I wasn’t in the market to buy brand new, and like that they are already somewhat broken in, but if you do want to buy a brand spanking new pair, here are a few at different price points, ranging from $350-$75. First pair, Second pair, third pair.

And there you have it, sweet friends, an attainable way to have a soft and feminine cowgirl outfit right in time for summer! (This is my most recent version, but I am looking to add one of the items I linked to my own closet soon to really pull off the look.)

Talk soon,
M
