An Easy Layered Autumn Outfit

Happy Weekend friends! Sweet November is utterly crisp and chilly here in Northern CA and my favorite weather to dress for. You can get away with lighter-ish layers and create versatile and gorgeous looks. I admit I was a little cold in this outfit 🫣 and could’ve gone for a thicker turtleneck instead of the cashmere crewneck. But I survived without any frostbite so all is well šŸ˜‰

I love getting the most out of my pieces, so this is actually a dress and not a skirt but as you can see you can easily make it look like one by adding a sweater on top. I also added a black belt to hold the sweater in place, some slouchy-heeled suede boots, and a black headband to top it off. This is one of my favorite ways to layer in the fall as it’s a bit different than just throwing on a coat or a cardigan over the dress for your layers.

What’s your favorite way to layer during Autumn or is it too cold where you are and you need a coat already?
