Hi Friends! As promised I am back today with a post all about the Nordstrom anniversary sale! When I re-did my blog and rebranded away from mostly being a fashion blogger I didn’t think I would write about sales anymore but I am leaning into following my heart. A big part of my heart will ALWAYS love fashion. It’s a core part of who I am and so I want to get back to sharing some more cozy fashion posts with you all. These posts won’t be be overly consumerism based but will showcase outfits I am loving or pieces I am personally excited to purchase which might inspire you to grab an item or not and that’s okay too! But let’s jump into today’s post.
The #NSale is coming right up and it’s one of my absolute favorite sales of the year and I truly look forward to it! To me it signifies that Fall (my souls season) is right around the corner and brings up that back to school nostalgic feeling. Know what I mean? When I was a kid I would get to choose a few things to for the coming school year to wear and so this sale reminds me of that feeling.

Anywho, enough being a nostalgic mush and onto the sale. First and foremost in case you’re new to it or haven’t shopped in years past to shop the sale next week/ early you have to have a Nordstrom credit card. If you don’t have one it opens to everyone at the end of July. You do what’s best for you but it does help to be a card holder as things can go quickly. Right now the preview for the sale is live and you can save the items you’re excited about to your wishlist and that’s what I’ve done below. I’ve added quite a few items but won’t purchase all of them by any means but like to have lot’s of options saved for when it’s my time to shop.

How I shop the sale is either adding pieces that I want new for the season or am replacing in my wardrobe. With the amount of bloggers that cover the sale and items that go live it can feel a bit pressured to purchase a lot of items but truly only buy what you need or really want to treat yourself with. I usually buy 1 or 2 new sweaters, a new pair of boots, a skirt (love the Blank NYC ones), maybe a jacket depending on the selection (that ralph lauren one is to die for), and some pants or jeans. I have learned over the years that buying a few really good quality items is the way to go. I still wear my picks from the sale from 4 years ago because they’re that good.
These are my top clothing picks and include a lot of warm colors, chunky knits, cute boots, and a touch of flannel. I don’t personally buy much athletic attire from the sale or loungewear so I didn’t include those. But a lot of people love what they offer in those departments. I prefer other brands for athletic attire that aren’t included in the sale but did see that some added some new brands this year if you are in the market!
Lastly, I didn’t include home or makeup. If you’d like to see a post on my picks for those let me know! I go pretty minimal in those areas too and usually buy the Neulash eyelash serum because its an amazing deal and lasts me until the next anniversary sale. I also didn’t include links because I’d love your feedback if you want direct links to my picks or not and would rather use this for inspiration. So do let me know.
Just seeing fall clothing is making my heart sing!
