Hi Sweet Friends! In today’s post I wanted to share 6 cozy items I am loving lately that I think you might like too but before we jump into each item lets catch up. How are you? I am doing okay! I haven’t been feeling the most well lately with chronic migraine but I am still trying to make the most of each day. We are also still in lockdown so much of my days are spent inside hence being extra drawn to cozy items but in reality I am always drawn to sweet cozy items that bring me joy haha. If you spent time with me in real life you’d find me with a candle burning, have a warm cup or tea or coffee in hand, baking, reading a book or journaling. Simple things truly make me happy! What are some little things that bring you joy? I’d love to know any I should add to my list.
Let’s start with one of my absolute favorites on this list and that’s this homebody pillow. I adore the little illustrations and coziness it gives off. I definitely want to add it to my space as I am quite the homebody myself. Next up, is this sweet floral notebook. If you have followed me for a little while you’ll know I am a sucker for cute stationary especially floral ones. Maybe it’s the daydreamer in me but I like to imagine sitting in a field of wild flowers writing down my thoughts and ideas so this little notebook does just that without having to leave your home.
If you follow me over on @spoonfulsofcozy (my main IG account now) you know I love all things cozy & bookish. I am an avid reader as well as a candle fiend so mix those together and I am in love. I just bought this LoArtCo Hogsmeade Candle (currently sold out) that is Harry Potter inspired and I am too excited for it to arrive. Between the scent notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and birch to it set in one of my favorite places in Harry Potter just makes my heart happy. Can I add one quick favorite to my list? It’s not an item but it is being in the bookstagram community. I always felt lost and out of place on instagram and never could really figure out what I wanted to create and share until I stumbled upon the little corner of bookstagram. Where people create the most beautiful imagery around books and share inspiring reviews and more. I feel like I finally found my place and what I absolutely adore to create and I feel so grateful for that!
Anywho sappiness aside my next favorite is this gorgeous skirt (its called the spoonful of sugar skirt which I find quite fitting for me haha)! I am itching for Spring and to pull out all my floral dresses and skirts and comfortably show a little skin 😂. I was just thinking today how much spring and wearing floral items brings me joy. They make me feel so feminine and beautiful. Anyone else? Also, there is just something about Spring that feels like renewal and getting the opportunity to bloom again which I love. Continuing the theme of flowers are these pressed flower bookmarks. They are so pretty and affordable. They have multiple collections like autumn and harry potter that they use to inspire the flowers they press into bookmarks. I love bookmarks and think they bring that extra joy to your reading. And last but certainly not least is this gorgeous ceramic mug that is hand dipped and painted. If I already didn’t have waaaay too many mugs I would absolutely grab one because they’re so beautiful.
